This is the path beside the bird sanctuary along the lakefront near my apartment. If you walk about 100 yards south, you stumble upon piked birdhouses:

These bird houses are directly east of my apartment, along Chicago's lakefront. They're a current obsession of mine, so expect to see more images of them in the near future.

It was a drizzly summer day, and I was out looking for things to snap in Rogers Park, a neighborhood on Chicago's far north side.

This was a quick snap taken as I was returning home from a few hours of shooting. I'm glad I snapped it ... because it's the only image from that day that I liked.
