I like the whole feeling of this photo...the cold, stern martian tower standing guard, the roil of icy lake-water against the pier, and the effect of 'snow creatures' crawling up the frozen concrete shoreline, their legs forming ladders for those who follow...
This is the pier at the east end of Wilson Beach.
